Having your photos taken professionally can be a little intimidating. Not everyone is comfortable in front of the camera, and I totally get it. To help ease your worries a bit, I\u2019d love to share with you a little \u2018behind the scenes\u2019 info when you work with Chappell Studios.<\/span><\/p>\n

When you decide to book a photography session with me, one of the first things we\u2019ll do is talk about what you have in mind. You\u2019ll explain your vision so that I can prepare my studio to best suit your needs. We\u2019ll then set a date and time for your session. That\u2019s easy enough, right?<\/span><\/p>\n

Upon arrival for your session, you\u2019ll enter the studio and I\u2019ll introduce you to my team (more on them a little later). You have time to get comfortable and hang up whatever clothing you\u2019ve brought with you for the shoot.<\/span><\/p>\n

Once your items are situated, we\u2019ll go through the outfits and talk about each look we\u2019re going to create. From there, I\u2019ll grab you a cold bottle of water or a nice hot tea\/coffee (whatever you prefer) and you\u2019ll move into hair and makeup.<\/span><\/p>\n

I always capture a few of the \u2018getting ready\u2019 shots, so your galleries will include images of your make-up being applied, hair styled, close-ups of your wardrobe \u2013 shots of the entire process. <\/span><\/p>\n

Once complete, you\u2019ll get dressed and your time in front of the camera will begin! We\u2019ll work together to bring your vision to life and create images that I know you\u2019ll cherish forever.<\/span><\/p>\n

You may notice that my assistant will also be taking a few photographs and maybe even a short video clip during the session. The purpose of those images is to have a collection of nice images of myself behind the camera (believe it or not, lol). I also love seeing the pullback shots after the session that provide incredibly valuable insight on how the session went. This helps future clients understand what to expect when they schedule with me. \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/span><\/p>\n

Back to the team I mentioned previously. I like working in a team environment and love collaborating with other creatives during my photo sessions. I use different artists for each shoot depending on the vision and needs of the client. Each of the artists are certified, experienced, and some of the best in the Albany, NY area. <\/span><\/p>\n
